Central Arizona Housing Market Moving Westward

The Arizona Republic reports that with the Valley's existing industrial corridors grappling with a shortage of real estate and low vacancy rates, experts say West Valley cities are in a prime position to fill some of that growing demand. The Valley's industrial vacancy rate dropped below 8% for the first time in four years during 2005's first quarter, according to CB Richard Ellis. The southwest Valley is the most logical location for the metro area's next major industrial corridor, given the availability of vacant land along Interstate 10 and along the Union Pacific rail line.
